Hip pain : If you have advanced hip osteoarthritis at age 38, you may have had an injury years ago, or had repetitive injuries from being an excessive athlete or having a malformation of the hip or severe problems walking for years. If you really have advanced hip osteoarthritis with severe pain, based on what you said, you don't need more tests.. you need a hip replacement. Speak to your doctor.
