What's this sore spot behind my upper teeth on my gum?

Incisive Papilla: It's where the blood vessels and sensory nerves to your plate exit the bone and speed out. If it's sore you're probably biting into it with your bottom front teeth, which means a deep vertical overbite and probably a larger than normal horizontal overbite. Has anyone ever suggested that you see an orthodontic specialist? If not, let me be the first.

Duration?: If present for more than a couple of weeks, it should be assessed by an oral surgeon to determine causation.
