Go back to doctor: You need to be re-examined and perhaps have imaging studies performed. This may be musculoskeletal, but best to have a full evaluation and make certain nothing serious is going on. Good luck and best wishes.

I woke up with a sharp pain in the front of my right shoulder. Hurt with movement. As the day went on I noticed that if I crossed my right arm across my body i would feel sharp stabbing pain just to the right of the center of my chest and upper back.
