Hello, i had a wheezy productive cough for about 7 weeks, so i recently took a course of antibiotics to try and shift it. i felt a lot better for about a week, but now ive noticed that my cough and chest tightness is coming back. should i see my dr?

It is advisable to follow-up. Avoid smoke and allergic triggers such as dust and mold. After a respiratory illness, wheezing may occur and there are inhaled medications available. If more severe, a short course of oral steroids is often effective. Watch for signs of sputum, fever and worsening cough.
