Spots on tongue: You may have a benign condition called geographic tongue- another name is migratory glossitis. With this condition you will have generally circular shaped lighter spots ( about a quarter inch in diameter, ) which may move around on the surface of the tongue. At times they may get irritated or inflammed, but in general, the condition is harmless.
