Need iron? Eat it...: Unless there's something going on with your GI tract, eating it is the easiest way to get more iron. This can come from foods (like kale, tofu, blackstrap molasses and cooked spinach) or supplements. Absorption of it is sometimes better with acids - so make that kale salad with citrus juice or vinegar! another easy option is to take a vitamin c pill with your iron.
