Hearing: Unfortunately, based on the info provided by you, it is impossible to tell whether anything can be done to fix it or not. A review of your records by an experienced ENT needs to be done in order to offer you any suggestions.

Hearing loss: Hello, hearing occurs with a complex combination of mechanical and then neural mechanisms in the ear. It sounds like your doctor has diagnosed a nerve type of hearing loss. Unfortunately, there isn't an easy way to return lost nerve type hearing. Noise avoidance is very important to prevent further hearing loss. Hearing aid amplification may be a good idea. Schedule an appointment with an ENT doc.
