Not a boil: If you are talking about something in your tongue and calling it a boil, realize that it is not a boil. See a doctor to figure out what it is for treatment.

See a Dentist: If you really have a "boil" on your tongue, that could be caused by an infection. Infections within soft tissues of the mouth can often spread to neighboring areas. This is especially dangerous if it spreads into your throat and affects your ability to breathe. You can imagine how serious that would be, right? So, see a dentist, oral surgeon, or ENT right away. The larger the "boil, " the worse.
