Burned taste buds: The hot food destroyed the cells on top of your tonge that allow you to taste. These will grow back quickly if you don't burn them again. If there is an actual BOIL (swelling and bleeding) this sounds like an infection and you should be seen. Be very careful while eating until this is resolved. Good luck!
