Diagnosis needed: First see a physician or Otolaryngologist for accurate diagnosis. If this is truly an abscess it requires appropriate treatment. It may be a swollen salivary gland caused by a blocked duct, however and not an infection.

You don't: You don't treat it. You must see a Dentist for treatment. You don't get boils under the tongue. You may be developing a mucocele, a blocked salivary duct, a cyst, or one of many other problems. Call your Dentist for an appointment.
