Hydrocele or tumor: Hydroceles are a collection of fluid around testicle ; commonly first thought, by subject, that testicle inself is enlarged. Outline is smooth and feels like a tense fluid filled sac. Testis tumors are hard ; irregular. Leukemia, or lymphoma of testis can be a hard, smooth enlargement. Scrotal ultrasound is an excellent, non-invasive diagnostic tool for enlarged testes.
