Upper quadrant ultrasound can still see the lungs?

Not evaluated : The lungs are not typically evaluated on an abdominal ultrasound. We will look at the posterior lower extension of the lungs (costophrenic angle) to check for pleural fluid but that is pretty much it for the lungs.
