Not necessary...: But you can use a bulb suction device to clear his nostrils. You can also put a drop or two of warm salt water in a nostril and then use the suction device. Noisy breathing is common in newborns simply because they're nostrils are so small.

Thanks for asking!: It is ok to put some saline drops in your baby's nose and suck them back out with the suction bulb. If your child has a fever, he or she needs to be seen immediately.
