See new doctor(s): It definitely sounds like something is wrong. Type of doctor you saw could make difference. Try to get referral(s) to orthopedist, podiatrist, physical medicine doctor, vascular doctor or rheumatologist.

Need evaluated: Medications is not the only option available and by your description the exact cause of your symptoms cannot be determined. If the pain has been present for three years, i would suggest being formally evaluated by your physician or ask for a referral to a pain specialist.
