See below: Heat can dilate your blood vessels, so if you are having a hot shower, the areas which get hit the most by water will get red caused by dilation of those blood vessels.

Love the Heat: You may be having what is called "heat-induced urticaria". Not a definitive thing because there are other possibilities. Do some reading and check out the physical findings and see if they line up. Treatment is fairly straight forward.
