Be seen: This could be a few things, but most worrisome is compartment syndrome which can be an emergency. I would ice the leg and see a doctor soon.

Several posibilities: This could be infection with redness, heat, pain, and swelling. This could be a blood clot with one-sided leg pain and swelling. It is not normal for an otherwise healthy young person to have either of these conditions, but both should be addressed soon. Have them checked out by your fp, because many things may cause burning swelling discomfort!

Possibly: Coughing is a symptom and not a condition, therefore there are many possible causes. Heart burn (also known as gastroesophageal reflux disease or gerd) is a possible cause, especially if there are no breathing problems. Other causes include upper respiratory infections, allergies and asthma. Mild asthma can present as a cough without respiratory distress.

I have been on cortef (hydrocortisone) 3 times a day for a total of 30mg a day. Is this harmful for pregnancy?

Not directly: Cortef (hydrocortisone) is similar to cortical adrenal hormones. The placenta is able to break down maternal cortical adrenal hormones, so that the fetus is not exposed to an excess of them. However Cortef (hydrocortisone) (like any other cortical adrenal hormone) can cause hypertension and diabetes in the mother, and these may negatively affect the pregnancy. As always, one has to balance risks and benefits...

Yes: You describe symptoms of radiculopathy which is when a nerve malfunctions due to some type of pressure on the nerve. You should see your family md for evaluation and they can do an MRI for evaluation. Of course, before surgery, you should try physical therapy and epidural steroid injections if possible.
