Hernia: If a person is obese, his chances of developing a hernia or significantly greater then someone who is not.. However anyone can develop a hernia, living heavy objects, coughing, genetics, and some disease states.

Incisional hernias : Yes , obese will have higher incidence of incisional hernias , other hernias inguinal etc you expect more in ovse , bur incidence appear to be about same
