If every time i have some kind of lap.surg.i have another hernia develope i m not likely to keep repeating this process.thoughts?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

depends: There are some patients more likely to develop hernis than others. If you need to have laparoscopic surgery in the future, be sure your surgeon closes the port sites with abdominal wall sutures, even for the 5mm sites. This is more difficult and requires a larger incision for obese patients, which also contributes to hernia formation. Hope this helps!
