Uncertain: Be sure and have a doctor examine you. Hernias that are causing no symptoms or problems can be observed. Enlarging or uncomfortable hernias should be repaired. Hernias can occur the the umbilical area, groin areas, or at the site of a prior surgery. Needs a physical exam with a doctor to tell what you may have.

May get complication: Untreated hernia always possible to get incarcerated , results in gangrene of bowel , if you want to avoid loose weight , and get it repaired
