Can't tell: Without biopsy of the nodules. The lump in the back of the throat might be the feeling of the mass. You should have the mass and the nodule biopsied.

2 different issues: A lump at the back of your throat might easily be a lymph node. If it has been there a while and isn't changing it probably needs to be biopsied to prove its not cancer. You don't state risk factors such a alcohol and tobacco exposure. The thyroid nodule is in front and would have to metastasize to the node. 1-2cm 10% risk.
