I have a lump on throat which is on the left side only and seems to be just below lymph node. some minor pain when swallowing. the pain appeared yesterday morning and hasn't gone away. i've had similar pains over the past weeks/month or two. cancer?

The throat is a complicated part of the body and there are a number of structures in that area that can swell. Don't rush for the "C:" word, but please go and see a doctor who can help diagnose and treat the condition. Best wishes
