Unlikely, but...: Dipping can cause a number of changes within and around the oral cavity - short-term could cause changes in amount of saliva (more/less), soreness/lymph node enlargement - also possible w/ infections. Over the long term, cancer is always a concern. For someone who dipped for a total of 2 months their entire lifetime, the risk is higher than never but arguably less than someone dipping for years.
