Yes: Sarcoidosis does have stages. Stage one includes bihilar lymphadenopathy which basically means swollen lymph nodes on both sides of the mediastinum.

Lung sarcoidosis: Lung sarcoidosis can be classified into 5 different staging on chest radiograph. (st 0-4). On the stage i : you would see hilar or mediastinal lymph nodes enlargement.

Lung sarcoidosis: The chest xray (CXR) findings of sarcoidosis have been categorized in different stages (St), but this doesn't necessarily mean the one stage is worse than another. St-0 normal CXR, St-1 lymph nodes; St-2 lymph nodes+lung findings; St-3, lung findings only; St-4 lung fibrosis CT imaging is the primary way that pulmonary sarcoid is now followed. Treatment is based a a combo of symptoms and imaging
