Check it: Pain is usually an indicator of infection for ears with piercings and what not. Have someone else have a close look at your ear lobe for redness/pus. If see nothing, will need to take out grommet and look at inner edge--will likely need to swab with hydrogen peroxide couple times a day and possibly put topical antibiotic on it as well. If worsens, grommet will have to come out for a while.
