Call your Dr.: You are obviously having a postoperative problem. The doctor who did the surgery needs to see you.

No ear drops: It's not a good idea to use ear drops. Your complaint is common after myringotomy. Try chewing gum for a couple of days. If no help return to your ENT specialist.

I had strep throat with a middle ear infection for 18 days. I completed an amoxicillin course of 20 tablets, and because of the middle ear I had to do myringotomy too, but even after that I still have a phlegm cough , and sore throat. Is this serious?
