I had myringotomy 3 days ago, my ear is poping while breathing maybe grommet is blocked please suggest me ear drops to clear gromet my dr. didn't sugest?

Call your Dr.: You are obviously having a postoperative problem. The doctor who did the surgery needs to see you.

No ear drops: It's not a good idea to use ear drops. Your complaint is common after myringotomy. Try chewing gum for a couple of days. If no help return to your ENT specialist.

I'm an ENT and I could not disagree more. Prescription drops are the way to go with this. I am not sure what gum would do for this patient. He should call his ENT.
