Uterine Artery Embo: To embolize the uterine artery, the physician placed a small tube and moved it to the area of your uterine artery. To do this, it was necessary to see where the tube went as it was moved through your blood vessels and x-ray was used to localize the tube. The amount of radiation was necessary to do the procedure and should not have much long term effects.

No: When you embolize the artery to be able to see what youre doing you need radiation fluoroscopy to see the catheter in the artery.
