Resistance possible: Acinetibacter resistance could be occur when taking an antibiotic and not reaching therapeutic dose or discontinuing a medication before completing it. Some bacteria require double coverage or intravenous if not improving. See your primary doctor as he/she will follow your cultures or recommend the next part of your care. Be well and tell your pharmacist about reaction to bactrim (sulfamethoxazole and trimethoprim).
