Visit a neurologist: Sharp temporal headaches may be a sign of temporal arteritis, atypical migraine, or something intracranial. In this case it would be wise to visit the neurologist. It could also be as benign as the start of an upper respiratory infection or the symptoms related to temporo-mandible joint syndrome. You should probably pay a visit to your pcp first.
