How long does it take for the swelling to go down after a front tooth implant?

Several Weeks: Several factors are involved here, whether a graft or membrane was placed. Whether the tooth was taken out at the same time. 2-3 weeks would be average.

There should be...: Very little swelling unless a tooth was extracted. The gums usually heal in 2-4 weeks.

Varies: On a number of factors. Was there a graft involved as well, was there a full thickness flap or was the implant placed through the tissue? I would see your surgeon to check the area. In my experience generally 7-10 days.
