Depends: Are you having abdominal discomfort with bloating & nausea after eating? Do you have gallstones? Did the scan recreate abdominal problems? If you are having appropriate symptoms, about 80% of people get better with gallbladder surgery. But remember others do not get better & repeatedly ask on this site why they are still having difficulties after surgery.

Probably.: The number is the gallbladder ejection fraction. You'r is abnomally low and this may be due to chronic acalculus cholecystitis. If you are symptomatic then, yes you should probably have a cholecystectomy, provided it was a satifactory test and your risk for surgery is low.

Maybe, maybe not: An ejection fraction of 15% is low and abnormal in our lab. But your doctor needs to decide if you need the gallbladder out by looking at other things as well. Other lab test, and symptoms. Things other than your gallbladder can cause a low ejection fraction..Like a duct which is partially obstructed.

Depends: Depends if symptoms related to biliary colic. Other alternatives are diet avoiding fatty foods that can cause gall bladder attacks. 15% is low ejection fraction for gall bladder and usually means chronic gall bladder disease or dyskinesia. Should consult your physician for educated decision.
