A member asked:

How long does it take for swelling around your lips to go away from juvaderm?

Not long: Juvederm is a hyaluronic acid similar to that normally found in our skin. It plumps up tissues around the mouth by drawing water in and holding it there. Hence, the swelling, that normally lasts for 1-5 days is normal. However, if done correctly the swelling should not be excessive but the minor bruising can last a bit longer. www.artofplasticsurgery.com.

Swelling/filler: Swelling after injections is not unheard off. Follow your injectors post procedure instructions which may include using a cool compress.
