Depends: An endoscopy is the most accurate test. A urea breath test is very reliable and non-invasive, but you must be off antibiotics and acid blockers for a month. The stool test is modestly accurate. The blood test is a waste of your money. Blood test will remain positive for years once you have been exposed to the bacteria. If your diagnosis was based on the blood test, you may not have had h. Pylori.

H. Pylori: After treatment for h. Pylori, you should wait for 2 weeks to have test to determine eradication of the bacteria. One of the way to do it is h. Pylori breath test. The other way is stool antigen for h. Pylori.
