3 moderate, 2 small: Most of the studies show that eating 5-6 meals a day, 3 larger meals and 2-3 lower calorie snacks in between (fruit, veggies) with your last meal smaller. The idea is to keep your metabolic rate up. The larger meals should be sensible. There are a number of websites that can give you recipe ideas for healthy balanced low calorie meals. Drink plenty of water.
