A member asked:

My nephew doesn't eat meal no breakfast no lunch no dinner he is 2 years old he chewing but not ingest then spit out do we leave him hungry to eat ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Call his doctor...: A parent can call the doctor to ask about such symptoms. A normal 2 year old will eat when he is hungry. So, the right thing to do is to make sure he is hungry at the beginning of breakfast, lunch, and dinner. However, toddlers may not be able to chew foods very well, so parents have to give properly mashed or chopped foods. Avoid high calorie snacks and sugared drinks, if he's growing fine.
