Wisdom tooth removal, metallic taste good?

Medication : It is highly possible that whoever took your tooth out placed some medication in the socket to try and prevent a dry socket. Different medications are used and some have a bad or metallic taste. You should check with your surgeon and ask them if anything was placed in the socket. If nothing was placed have them check the socket for proper healing as debris may have collected causing the taste.

Medications: Medications can cause a metallic taste. This will also, happen during healing. So do not be too concerned about this unless you are having swelling, or severe pain. Call the oral surgeon who did the extraction if you have any concerns or questions.
