Wisdom tooth ext: Depends on when the tooth was removed. If you are having severe pain, you may have a dry socket--call your surgeon. If no pain and it is soon after the extraction, it is probably from the bleeding and drainage from the wound--follow the post-op instructions. In any case, if it continues beyond 3 days, call your surgeon.

Bad taste: If this is 1-2 days post-surgical it may be from a little oozing from the surgical sites. If longer than 2 days, there may be either some residual infection or a dry socket. In either case, call your Surgeon and report what's going on.

Wisdom tooth healing: the bad taste in your mouth could be from a few different things. The healing blood clot typically has a taste. Food debris trapped in the extraction site will de this. You did not say how long ago your extraction was and if you have other symptoms. Follow the post op instruction ns you were given. Call the extracting dentist about your concerns and questions.

Very common: after wisdom tooth surgery. A bad taste in your mouth can be removed with saltwater rinsing and proper oral hygiene. Take care.
