Probably: Generally yes. But the cause of the fever could be a factor in whether you should continue to breastfeed. Many women develop a fever as a result of lactation, for them it is not an issue. If the fever is due to mastitis, then breastfeeding should continue in addition to taking appropriate antibiotics.
