Crooked teeth: No, not necessarily. There are plenty of people with normal palates yet they have crooked teeth. The palate can be a factor but it's not the only one. Consult with an orthodontist to discuss more.

No: Crowded teeth are quite common and do not directly relate to palatal problems. However, the size and shape of your palate will influence the position of your tongue which influences the forces placed on the teeth and gums. This force has an effect on the teeth as someone grows. If your teeth are crowded, you should see an orthodontist for a complete evaluation.

Apples & Oranges: You may have crooked teeth and an abnormal palate. You may have crooked teeth and a normal palate. You may have straight teeth and an abnormal palate. Ask your dentist to refer you to an orthodontic specialist (initial exam often free or very low cost) for an opinion. You'll be glad you did.

No: Not necessarily. Sometimes a palate can be within the range of "normal" and teeth may be straight or crooked. Usually a growth or functional issue. See your Orthodontist for evaluation and treatment options. Good Luck.
