Orthodontic consult: Unfortunately, you would have to be seen by an orthodontist in your area to get an accurate answer to your question. Without seeing you, your x-rays and having a complete workup, no orthodontist can properly evaluate your specific malocclusion and determine whether or not you need surgery into order to effect a successful outcome. If necessary, see 2 or 3 orthodontists for a consensus of opinion.

Unrelated: Many issues. If your jaw is too narrow, surgery may be required. Doesn't matter what kind of braces the orthodontist uses, they are simply a handle on the teeth to allow the teeth to be manipulated. There's no magic to damon vrs any other brand of braces. Make sure you are seeing a qualified orthodontic specialist as opposed, to a general dentist who dabbles in "braces.".
