Is it easy mixing up lady's abdomen pain with appendicitis?

It can be.: The appendix is found in the right lower abdomen; some people have the tip of the appendix very close to the right ovary. Therefore, in the era prior to ct scans and ultrasounds, it was very difficult to differentiate diseases of the tubes and ovary (ruptured cyst, pelvic inflammatory disease) from appendicitis. Even now, these tests are not perfect, sometimes requiring exploratory surgery.

It can be.: The appendix is in the right lower abdomen- so is one ovary and egg tube, and a lot of the small intestine; and the uterus, bladder, and rectum are right next door. Right lower abdominal pain could be: appendicitis, ovarian cyst, normal ovulation, infection or twist of the ovary or tube, uterine fibroid, endometriosis, urinary infection or stone, constipation, flu, hernia, to name the most common.
