No: Appendicitis starts with about 8 hours of pain around the belly button, and then moves to the right lower abdomen, becomes sharper, and steadily more severe within 12-24 hours to the point that you can't stand it and go to the er. This sounds more like muscle spasms in one of the three muscles that make up the abdominal wall, but you should see your primary provider for an evaluation. God luck!
