A member asked:

How bad is the pain in your abdomen when you have appendicitis?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Starts as mild pain : But gets worse with time. Usually 1-2 days duration and starts in the peri umbilical area and radiates to the right lower quadrant. The pain is also constant. It may be associated with nausea, vomiting, fevers and decrease appetite. Appendix is a small organ and can only stay inflammed for a while before it ruptures. If you have any suspicion you need to seek immediate attention.
