In 6 wks: Most of the time healing will be complete in 3wks , in clean uninfected surgery any where in the body , foot surgery needs additional time should be able to do all activities in 6wks , speak to your surgeon

1-2 weeks: Depends if by 'back' you mean sole, which could take longer. Need time for the skin to heal and as long as there is no major joint or tendon involvement you should be ready to go. However, as with any procedure, it will heal when it heals, and it's important to follow your doctor's advice as to your progress and resumption of activity.
