IBD& K: It is very difficult to say how long because i don't know how much potassium your diet contains? What diet you are on?How often do you check your k? How much & how often you have ibd diarrhea. Low and high potassium are very serious. Can cause arrhythmia. Please see professional nutritionist or dietician.
