Stop aspirin: If you are avoiding acids, taking nexium (esomeprazole) and Zantac and not eating or drinking for three hours prior to going to bed then you need to stop the aspirin as well.

It may take longer: I see you are on nexium (esomeprazole), (esomeprazole) I don't know if that was new when diagnosed with reflux or older. I usually wait two to three months when adding nexium (esomeprazole) or similar drugs to treat reflux to see improvement in throat symptoms. It depends on what kind of speech problems you're having. If it is interfering with job, persistent, see an ENT to get a good look at vocal folds. Vocal rest can be important too.
