Glass and youths: Why would you be watching the stool for this? How did a child swallow glass? If glass is causing bleeding you would know right away. If the child is acting normal it sounds like there is nothing to be worried about.

How come?: If I am correct any serious injury shoud have already manifest itself with abdominal pain, vomiting and rectal bleeding in form of red blood. Do not panic but call your pediatrician he/she should know about it... How could a 2 year old have a piece of glass in the stool, did he put something in his mouth?
