Potential internal bleeding or complications? i gashed my finger open with a piece of glass a couple days ago and it bled quite a bit. didn't stop for a few hours although i probably didn't apply enough pressure. no insurance so no dr, too expensive?

Lacerations to the finger, if large enough can require sutures. This is primarily to close the wound neatly and avoid continued bleeding. Lacerations can and do heal without sutures. Watch for continued bleeding or oozing, Make sure the area is kept clean and dry. Also watch for redness/pus which can indicate an infection. HealthTap telemedicine acute care visits are available if you are concerned
