Stools: These are often a reflection of dietary intake, but can represent inflammatory changes in the colon. This sounds like a brief normal variation but if there is persistent mucous in the stool or a suggestion of blood you should have the baby seen by the pediatrician. Try using yogurt (unpasteurized).
