Hello dr. i bleed when i stool so i had a colonograghy which showed faecolith causing a divertuculum.i then had a colonoscopy which showed only haemorrhoids grade 3 bleeding.the colonoscopy did not see divertuculum.does divertuculum bleed too?

Diverticula can also bleed google images and you can see tiny arteries coming up over edge of divertic.

Yes, diverticular bleed is among the most common causes accounting for gastrointestinal bleeding. In your case it sounds that at the time of the colonoscopy only the hemorrhoids were actively bleeding.
