Improve function but: As best as i can tell, vitamin d has not been shown to raise WBC count. However, vit. D plays an important role in immune function and improves the function of wbc's. It is theorized that colds & flu are more common in winter because so many people become deficient in d at that time. While it seems possible that d might increase WBC count in some people, this is not something we see consistently.
